Poetry Workshop, led by Ruth O’Callaghan at Owl Barn, Back Lane, Ulverston, Saturday, February 27th, 10-4pm
This workshop will begin by examining questions of identity. The investigation will attempt to pinpoint what makes one person or poem different from another. Why do some poems and/or people instantly resonate and remain in memory? What influence does place have in forming identity? How can we utilise these factors to make poems distinct when submitting work for publication? We will examine appropriate poems and generate our own with a view to placing them in a hypothetical magazine.

Booking essential . Please post a cheque for £25 and your contact details to Word Market, Owl Barn, Back Lane, Ulverston, LA12 7DN. Contact name: Maggie Norton 01229 582399
