Spoken Word Open Mic
Guest poets: Graham Austin and Anne Caldwell

A night for lyricists, comedians, storytellers and poets to reel off rhymes, punch out parodies and spit some sonnets. Barrow-based poet, performer and tutor Ann Wilson presents two special guest poets alongside open mic slots in a relaxed atmosphere with comfy sofas. Performers to sign up on the door by 7.15pm.

Finding your performance voice and writing in other voices
Workshop with Ann Wilson

This is a practical performance and writing workshop. Please bring some of your work that you would like to practice performing. We will explore different ways of delivering your material. We will also use drama techniques to develop other characters. We will have some time for writing in other characters and to develop them for performance.
